CTRA 2023 Fees


Membership fees $100 

-Due on the date of the first competition you attend.

-Option of a one day competition membership fee of $50.


Fundraising Commitment $250

Please provide a post-dated cheque, September 11, 2023, of $250.00/member.  Should you fail to reach the fundraising commitments your cheque will be cashed in order to keep your membership active.


CTRA competition entry fee:


Itty Bitty $25.00 (6 and under as of January 1st) - 3 tricks

Youth $50.00 (7-9 years old) - 5 tricks

Open $75.00 (10 and up) - 5 tricks

Competition Structure & Entries Information 



The CTRA will award a Season Leader and a CTRA Champion.  Season Leader will be the total number of points at the end of the year excluding the two day finals. At each competition points are received as 20 for 1st, 19 for 2nd, 18 for 3rd and so forth. 

The CTRA 1D, 2D Champion will be based on the 2-day results of the sudden death finals.  A member in good standing must attend 50% of regular competitions in order to qualify for finals. ( 3 of the 6 regular season competitions)


We will have 3 categories at our competitions: (Age as of Jan 1, 2023)

Itty Bitty - 6 and under

Youth - 7- 9 years old

Open – 10 & Up 

*A Youth may choose to run in the open, but every member must remain in the category they enter for the entire year.  


- All the Itty Bitty contestants will run together, unless the participant level is large enough then they will be divided into appropriate groups at the discretion of the host. 

- Itty Bitty runs will be not be judged and consist of 3 runs total.   

- Itty Bitty's will receive ribbons and small prize at each competition.  

  


Youth: Entry Fee: $50.00

  • All Youth contestants' order of go will be established by a random draw by the host, separated into groups based on the number of entries.  

  • Youth runs will be judged and consist of 5 runs total. Lowest point run dropped.  

  • Youth contestants will receive a monetary payout based on a predetermined split for 1D, 2D and 3D placing.  Payout placing will be determined on the number of participants.  

  • The CTRA Youth Division will have a season leader and subsequent placing awards.  

    - At each competition a point system will be used to be accumulated for year end. 1st- 20 pts, 2nd- 19 pts, 3rd- 18pts ect.


    Open: Entry Fee: $75.00

    • All Open contestants' order of go will be established by a random draw by the host, separated into groups based on the number of entries.  

    • Open runs will be judged and consist of 5 runs total. Lowest point run dropped.

    • The CTRA Open Division will be awarded a season leader and subsequent placing awards.

At each of the competitions the CTRA may be holding a community building activity that will be focused on fostering mentors, building community and friendships.  This component will be mandatory, at the finals, for anyone participating in any division of the competition.
